Stylish and beautifully appointed and with very friendly and helpful staff. Perfectly located in the centre of Bruges, but on a quiet side street. Convenient public parking nearby.
The bed, although a very pretty four poster, had a hard mattress and lumpy pillows.
Uniqueness of the hotel based on its design and the service as it used to a generation ago.
I loved the lounge and the general decor of the place; much of the furniture and decoration being antique. It has a nice intimate feel and a personal touch has been added to all the rooms. A great place to stay if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of a larger hotel. The staff were also for the most part helpful and friendly.
The pricing seemed excessive to me. To give an example the sauna far from being included in the price of the hotel costed a further forty euros. When you are paying a premium for a suite in a luxury hotel you don't expect be be charged for the use of their sauna, much the same way as you wouldn't expect to be charged to use the swimming pool if a hotel had one. DVDs at reception were also charged at five euros for rental which I found competely bizzare considering that many of them were quite old. In a nutshell there are certain things you expect to be charged for in a hotel and others that you expect to be included in the price.
Great little hotel located perfectly in Bruge to walk to everything. About 5 minute walk to Market Square, the main attraction in the old town. Great staff, killer breakfast, the rooms are very "girly" and cute. An excellent property and excellent value. Also only a 10 minute walk to the best local gem of a restaurant, Cristophe's which is amazing food at a good price.
No smoking area or salon.
The location is excellent.Staff very friendly
Our room was very small even by European standards and would not have wanted to stay there more than one or two nights
The charm, location and room facilities of the hotel. The staff could not have done any more for us.
The wasn't a restaurant on site and no tea/coffee facilities in the room.
The staff and the location.
The room was a fraction too small for the price.
The location is superb. Excellent breakfast, well served. The reception staff were particu;ar;y helpful.
We changed rooms because the one we had booked was very cramped. It cost us more but it was worth it. It would be helpful if some warning of the room sizes was available when making the reservation.
Lovely people and very helpful. Excellent breakfast and great position
Our standard room was small and dark ( tree outside window )and poorly lit.The WC was squashed into small space beside the bath and very difficult to use.
A luxurious hotel, very well located in a beautiful city
Quite expensive overall - They even charge Eur40 for the use of their Sauna - which I would have expected to be included in the (Expensive) room rate.
The hotel is very well appointed. We were in a standard room but it was fitted out well.
The room was small and it was a tight squeeze to get evrything in.
Excellent, particularly helpful staff, notably Rebecca.
Personal involvement of owners and general assistance of staff. Also, very central location. And finally, excellent breakfast!
I thought this was the perfect hotel choice for a very quaint and beautiful town. It is perfectly located and a few minutes walk into the main square. The staff were very helpful and room was very comfortable. Would definitely stay again.
